While AI and robotics bring immense benefits, their rapid advancement risks outpacing society’s ability to adapt, potentially displacing up to 800 million jobs globally by 2030 and causing widespread social upheaval. This shift could exacerbate income inequality, destabilize economies, and foster the rise of authoritarian systems.

Traditional solutions like universal basic income and robot taxes face significant scalability and enforcement challenges on a global level. To address these existential threats, Project Human is a bold initiative to reimagine the future of work and human value. At its core is “Human Currency,” a global economy centered on empathy services that leverage uniquely human qualities. Through Project Human, we aim to ensure that as machines transform industries, human dignity, empathy, and empowerment remain the foundation of a sustainable future.

Internship Overview

Project Human is seeking passionate, driven interns to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven organization, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop professional skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Interns will have the opportunity to:

• Work on real-world projects in areas such as media/PR, mass mobilization, community engagement, AI, Web3/DeFi technologies, legal, funding, events, and more.
• Be part of a pioneering global movement dedicated to empowering humanity and advancing human dignity.
• Gain hands-on experience in media and PR outreach, helping Project Human secure coverage on major media platforms and publications.
• Contribute to social mobilization efforts by recruiting, engaging, and organizing supporters to build a vibrant, action-oriented global community.
• Help shape and manage an innovative online community platform that leverages technology, gamification, and AI to drive collective action and engagement.
• Support the development and implementation of a multi-staged engagement model that transforms followers into active leaders and change-makers.
• Explore and propose sustainable business models and cutting-edge Web3/DeFi solutions to ensure the movement’s long-term impact and resilience.
• Assist in establishing robust legal frameworks and compliance strategies for a secure, transparent, and scalable global platform.
• Play a key role in fundraising initiatives, helping secure resources through grants, donations, partnerships, venture capital, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of Project Human initiatives in your chosen area(s) of interest.
  • Media/PR Outreach: Support outreach efforts to secure mass media opportunities for Project Human, including TV, podcasts, talk shows, TED, and major publications.
  • Social Movement & Mass Mobilization: Help recruit, engage, and organize supporters to build a strong global community. Assist in leading outreach, coordinating events, and empowering people to become active supporters, volunteers, and team members to drive change and solutions.
  • Community Platform Engagement: Contribute to the development and management of the Project Human community platform—a dynamic, interactive hub that empowers supporters to engage, organize, and take collective action. Leverage features like upvotes/downvotes, AI-driven personalization, gamification, and seamless giving tools to foster engagement and impact.
  • Multi-Staged Engagement Model: Support the implementation of Project Human’s multi-staged engagement model, which transforms followers into donors, volunteers into team members, and team members into regional leaders. Utilize personalized digital tools, gamification, and leadership development to build a scalable, empowered movement.
  • Business Model Innovation: Explore and propose business models that make Project Human self-sustaining, economically viable, and scalable to support people globally, ensuring long-term impact and resilience.
  • Web3/DeFi Development: Assist in leveraging Web3 and DeFi technologies to build innovative business and reward models. Help design systems that incentivize participation, enable transparent governance, and ensure financial sustainability—directly rewarding community members for their contributions.
  • Legal Research & Frameworks: Contribute to establishing a robust legal framework for Project Human, including entity formation, governance, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property protection to ensure security, transparency, and scalability worldwide.
  • Fundraising: Support the development and execution of fundraising strategies to secure resources for project launch and sustainable operations through grants, donations, partnerships, venture capital, and other sources.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate.
• Available to commit a minimum of 15 – 20 hours per week for at least 10 weeks.
